Robot Learning of Mobile Manipulation for
Intelligent Assistance (2021-2027)

detailed description

TLDR: The project aims to investigate a novel robot learning approach to mobile manipulation for intelligent assistance. Three fundamental research problems will be addressed with our idea of augmenting classical robotics with learning methods: (i) robust mobile manipulation, (ii) fluent human-robot interaction, and (iii) adaptive planning for accomplishing household tasks.

Horizon Europe Project MANiBOT (2023-2027)

detailed description

TLDR: MANiBOT aims to empower bi-manual, mobile, service robots with superior physical capabilities able to perform a wide variety of manipulation tasks, with highly diverse objects, in a human-like manner and performance, in diverse, challenging environments.

Horizon Europe Project ARISE (2024-2027)

detailed description

TLDR: ARISE aims to realise a robotic platform that focuses on two crucial industrial sectors that can drive the European Green Deal progress, namely Energy and Agriculture. ARISE will be driven by the needs of Solar Panel installation and maintenance and the harvesting of hydroponic lettuce.

SIREN: Structured Interactive Perception and Learning for Holistic Robotic Embodied Intelligence (2025-2030)

detailed description

TLDR: SIREN aims to uncover this underlying structure and information flow that govern the robot-environment interaction. Our goal is to unveil key properties of the action-perception cycle for developing embodied intelligence.
