Jiayun Li joined the PEARL group as a PhD student at TU Darmstadt in October 2023. Prof. Georgia Chalvatzaki will supervise his research, which primarily focuses on learning for control and human-robot interaction.
Before embarking on his PhD, Jiayun attained his master’s degree in Computational Engineering Science from TU Berlin. His specialization revolved around statistical machine learning and control. During his master’s thesis, he delved into approaches for learning robot dynamics models, under the supervision of Prof. Marc Toussaint.
