Magnus joined the PEARL group at TU Darmstadt as a PhD student in May 2026. He is supervised by Prof. Georgia Chalvatzaki as part of the SIREN project.
He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Computational Engineering, both from TU Darmstadt. His thesis “Domain Randomized Deployment of Massively Parallel MPC” was written at IAS under the supervision of Dr.-Ing. João Müller Carvalho, Dr.-Ing. An Thai Le and Prof. Jan Peters. During his master studies, he further did a research internship at Huawei R&D, working in robotics labs in London and Shenzhen.
