Robot Learning Engineer
We are looking for robot learning engineers to join our team in the implementation and training of state-of-the-art robot learning algorithms for our TIAGo++ robot and other mobile manipulation robots.
Scheduled Tasks
- Setup and train state-of-the-art robot learning algorithms (like Diffusion policies, ACT)
- Collect data on the real robot platform
- Evaluate and deploy the trained algorithms on the real robot
- Collaborate with other team members for smooth integration into the existing software stack.
Requirements
While prior experience is valuable, the most important attribute is a willingness to learn.
- Solid knowledge in Robot Learning, Imitation Learning, Reinforcement Learning
- Good knowledge in robotics and control,
- Strong proficiency in Python,
- Plus: familiarity with ROS and robotic simulators (e.g., ISAAC Sim, Gazebo, or similar tools),
- Master students in Computer Science, AI, Autonomous Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields are preferred.

Robot Simulation Engineer
We are looking for simulation engineers to join our team in the development of digital twins and training environments using Isaac Sim (IsaacLab) for our TIAGo++ robot and other mobile manipulation robots.
Scheduled Tasks
- Developing high-fidelity digital twins for robotic systems using ISAAC Sim,
- Creating simulation environments to train and test robot perception, motion planning, and control algorithms,
- Integrating simulation environments with machine learning pipelines for robot training and deployment,
- Running simulation experiments and validating them with real-world robot data,
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth integration between simulation and physical robot systems.
Requirements

Robotics & FAB engineer
We are looking for a hands-on engineer to assist in the fabrication, integration, and setup of robotic components and systems. This role involves developing custom robotic hands, integrating sensors into existing robots, and supporting various prototyping activities.
Scheduled Tasks
- Designing and building robotic hands and components,
- Integrating sensors with robots for perception and control,
- 3D printing robotic parts and experimental objects,
- Assisting in the setup of real-world experiments for robot testing,
- Supporting the team with control systems and microcontroller programming for hardware integration.
Requirements
The following skills are preferred, but the most important is a curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Knowledge of robotics, control, or hardware integration,
- Experience with 3D printing and CAD software for part design,
- Familiarity with microcontrollers and sensor integration,
- Experience in control systems or electronics is a plus,
- Master students in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields are preferred.

Robotics Software Engineer
We are looking for software engineers to join our team in the development of computer vision and robot motion generation software stacks for our Franka Panda robot as well as our dual-armed mobile manipulator robot: the Tiago++.
Scheduled tasks
Developing software in Python or C++ for robot vision and motion generation,
Creating Python and ROS interfaces to the motion generator and perception pipeline,
Running tests on the real robot in the lab,
Helping in the integration of the software stack into machine learning pipelines to perform challenging navigation and manipulation tasks.
Requirements
These are ideal points, but most importantly you should have a will to learn new skills.
– Knowledge in robotics or control or vision
– Good knowledge of C++ and Python
– Good knowledge of ROS
– Experience with robotic simulators (e.g., Gazebo, Bullet, Issac, etc.)
Master students in Computer Science, AI, Autonomous Systems, Control and Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related topic are preferred.
