
Yufeng Jin joined the PEARL group as a PhD student at TU Darmstadt in December 2023. His research is jointly supervised by Prof. Georgia Chalvatzaki and Dr. Mathias Franzius at the Honda Research Institute Europe. The focus of his research primarily revolves around object 6D pose estimation and uncertainty analysis.
He obtained his master’s degree in mechatronics and computer science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2021. Following his graduation, he joined the Honda Research Institute as a robotics perception engineer. In this role, he primarily focused on research in robotics perception and computer vision. His main responsibilities included researching robotics perception to advance robot operation in teleoperation scenarios.
